"I will be interning for the Alliance for the Great Lakes starting next week. In addition to working my full time job, I will be helping the Alliance's water quality division. Specifically, I will be working on a project concerning pharmaceuticals in the Great Lakes. They can really mess with the biology of a plethora of fish species and other aqatic biota. Also, not good for us dependent on Great Lakes drinking water (some 26 million people). I am also trying to hit a January deadline for grad school applications. So if you think I am dead b/c I don't return your phone calls or make it to your parties, please just know that it is b/c I am saving the world."-Heather
