I HAD A DREAM I WAS A VIGILANT SIDEKICK

If you for some reason find yourself in Hoboken, it would be a stupid move to pass up La Isla.
Authentic, Cuban goodness.
We also went to see Pat at L&J's. He made the paper!
And a car-ride later, we made our destination.
We eventually found Ronnie.
He was on and off his skateboard all night.
They have set a date! Leanne plans to call in sick and they will head to city hall to make it official. Party to follow in the fall.
VIVA PARACKA!
This chick fell onto and then took an immediate liking to Renn.
She thrashed to Pantera on his shoulder.
An eclectic and diverse crowd. Truly like no party I have ever been to.
Punk Rock Johnny, straight out of the Lost Boys.
Hair. Or no hair. Whichever you prefer.
Man of the evening, that Renn.
Get a load of those shoes!
Shoes galore. I love shoes.
There are good things going on across the river.
4AM and far far far away from home.

GIFT HORSE

Friday night was an untamed and wild good time.
The Yellow Pedal.
Ed: Girls-in-bands aficionado.
Always front row and center. Always intense.
It's JANDY!
And some Brit rocker?
After hauling our shit back to Brooklyn, we went to Kellogg's for some belly filler. California Salad anyone? I dare you.
5AM and way past my bedtime.

JON & PONCH

I hope you were lucky enough to have one of my cookies.
Customized and I have to admit, damn good.
Martha Stewart, eat my dough...

I CAME, I SAW

We took advantage of the weather yesterday and drenched our sun-starved bodies in the warmth.
Instead of drowning our ears in noise straight away, we sat outside and enjoyed some drink and popcorn and general hilarity.
But no matter how hard I try, it is impossible for me to take a photo of the three of us without it looking like a seriously cheesed out band photo. Bunch of art fags.

JING AH LING AH LING

Keith and I have a new hobby: taking off on foot and stopping in for a small bite to eat at all sorts of different places. A tasting tour, if you will.
On Tuesday we ended up at Gramercy Tavern. Get a load of Kevin, all growed up! Boy does he know his stuff. What followed was a very memorable meal. I won't bore you with the details. However...
This was one of the prettiest desserts I have ever laid eyes on. Keith claims it was one of the best desserts he's ever EATEN! The green is a cilantro "syrup" and there is tapioca involved and mango and caramel...But for me, chocolate wins every time...

FOR THE WORLD TO LOOK THROUGH

Before practice on Monday we went to the beer garden to toast my Gram and nosh on food she would have certainly shared with me.
She was a very meat-and-potato kind of lady and I know she was smiling down on me as I waged my way through this deliciousness.
Radegast Hall beckons you and wants to crown you with a sausage!

I'm a little bit...

Cole Haan Country
Sold! To me. Ebay. $20
They are even better in person, and even better than that with my foot tied inside.

Crab Claws

Seriously, thanks for being so damn great and making me laugh when I least feel like it.
You rock... That broom.

Sundown

For the first time ever and in honor of my Gram, I made her infamous German baked spaghetti last night.
Totally winged it from memories of being with her in the kitchen while she made it and then later in life, her whispers in my ear about specifics.
I must say it turned out pretty fantastic.
I smell a tradition.
